Welcome here! I am so happy to finally get to launch day. I’ve been dreaming up what I want to do with this site and what I want to share with you for a few months now, and I’m glad to get to this point when I can invite you in.
Who Am I?
- Firstly, I am a Christian and I love Jesus more than anything.
- A Canadian Prairie girl, raised in Winnipeg and based in Regina most of my adult life.
- Wife, Mom to a 17 year old and a five year old, Daughter, Sister, Aunt…
- I am a mini-entrepreneur, working from home sewing goods that I sell at local markets and online.
Why Do I Write?
I have always believed that it’s great to learn and grow; we all need to do that. But it we don’t pass it on, we’re missing a huge chunk of the point. I have always loved God’s word, and after high school put in four years and got a degree from a Bible School. With that I worked at a camp and at a church, and while working at the church had an opportunity to get a diploma from a Seminary, too. So I have some education and experience, but probably my best qualification is simply that I long to worship God with my every day life and hobbies. I’ve been a blogger for over a decade, so when I was deciding how to be involved in serving in this next season of my life, sharing my faith and encouragement online was a direction that felt right.
What Will You Find Here?
CarolynWard.ca is a place to talk about what the Bible says, and about prayer, spending time with God, and living out your faith. It is to be a place of encouragement. You’ll find posts each Tuesday, and every other Friday I will post a Scripture Printable you can download. They will be free to download for one week. After that you will be able to find them all at my new shop where they will be available for a small price.
Over on the side you’ll find a spot to sign up if you want to receive each post in your inbox, and also a spot to sign up for my newsletter. The newsletters will have content not on the blog here, links back to posts you might have missed, and different printables. They will come out every six weeks, so I won’t be flooding your inbox.
Thank you for visiting. Welcome here!
