It’s the first Free Printable Friday! Today’s pick is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength” from Mark 12:30. The greatest of the commandments are Love God and Love Others, so I figured this would be a good place to start.
I love this verse. It’s such a great reminder to me that loving God is to be with my whole life; my whole self. It is not simple; Jesus never claimed it would be easy. But it is not difficult, either – it is more of an adventure! There are so many complex parts of our lives, and we are to use all of them to love him. How do I love him in all areas of my life? What does it mean to love him with my mind? Are there any areas where I am being half-hearted in my love for him?
There are only 22 words in this verse, but you could keep this one in your heart for 22 days or more and not exhaust the thoughts it could lead you to.
This one is a 4×6 print, so great for putting up on a shelf where you can see it often, or using as a bookmark. Send your friends over so they can get one, too!
